Day 1 Arrivals day Day 2 Journey through the region’s beginnings to the present day on a walking tour of downtown followed by a visit to the Memory House Museum. In the evening, delve into the local culture with an interactive workshop, Spanish class and a lesson in salsa dancing! Day 3 Join one of the largest social projects in the city in Comuna 13. Participate in graffiti, hip hop and dance workshops with local experts. Make a memorable souvenir using your new graffiti skills. Day 4 Travel to el Carmen de Viboral, a town one hour from Medellin, to meet a traditional Antioquia farmer. Understand, and taste, the entire process of organic farming. Then, craft your own ceramic product - emblematic to the town. Day 5 Few places demonstrate Medellin’s remarkable transformation over the past two decades like Moravia. Through the guidance from community leaders, explore how the land residents live on transformed from a mound of waste to a stunning urban garden. Day 6 Join the locals of Santa Elena by creating stunning floral reefs and preparing for one of the biggest flower festivals in the world: La Feria de las Flores. Day 7 Ever wondered how you make the finest coffee beans on the planet? Visit a local coffee plantation to find out. In a nearby town, experience the entire process before becoming a coffee picker yourself. Day 8 Fly to Colombia's oldest surviving colonial city: Santa Marta. Travel back in time with a private tour around the historical centre including a visit to the enthralling Gold Museum. Sample fresh seafood dishes and enjoy live Caribbean music performances. Day 9 Receive a spiritual cleansing before entering an indigenous Arhuaco community. We discover their ancient beliefs, learn how to make their sacred mochila bags and enjoy sunset on the private beach. Day 10 Discover how a traveler's controlled presence helps empower these women and preserve their way of life. Enjoy the beach, play football with the local children, help cook, and enjoy traditional music. Day 11 Journey along the coast, learning how tourism is affecting the heritage of local indigenous communities. Afterwards, head into the jungle, searching for an award-winning species of cacao.
